Fox 2.0 Coilovers in the front and Fox 2.0’s in the rear, Total Chaos UCA’s, Al-lpro expo leafs, K&N cold air intake, TRD headers,Magnaflow catback exhaust,URD short throw shifter, switched out my 60/40 bench seat for some Tacoma Limited seats, Replaced the vinyl shift boot for a leather one, completely soundproofed the cab w/ Frost King. Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. MX series camper shell. All-Pro Apex front bumper w/ All-Pro skid plates all the way back to the Trans. Low Range fuel skid plate.
Here is the y-pipe on the right which came with the headers. Note the difference in length, one ready to clamp to a 99-04 cat (on the left, minus the 3 bolt flange) and the other longer so to bolt up to the 95-98 cat.

Here are the headers, instructions and parts that come with it.

I think my easiest option is to go with the longer y-pipe and bolt it to a two bolt Magnaflow cat and then the MF catback exhaust, get the URD rear o2 sensor simulator and be done with it...

Dang don't know what to tell you there. That's interesting, now you got me researching all these part #s. I'm sure an exhaust shop could easily change out the flange styles.

And these people that bring up ptr108999018 never mention the flanges.

Regardless, I think it's an easy fix either way. I'm going to first try the two bolt flange just because cutting the flange off of that y-pipe makes me sick after spending all that money:pray:

Yeah goodluck with whatever route you take. I'm just getting confused when you say the part # you ordered and the part #s in the install instructions aren't the same.

    So just to clarify:
The part # on the box says ptr108999018 - which should be the corrected y pipe. However from research there was never a TRD y pipe with a 3 bolt flange so either way it would have to be modded.

And PTR2635953 is the updated gasket and spring bolt set that you got.

If I'm picturing correctly the y pipe that I have is different from both of those pictured, I'm thinking I have the old style. The y pipe you've had is the pre-2001 y pipe but is the updated version for the donut gasket, and the one you just got is the updated 2001-04 y pipe.

Notice how the y pipe doesn't have those rounded openings

On the bright side looking up all this I found part #s (that I won't disclose here) for a TRD transmission cooler (that I didn't know they made) and a TRD full cat back exhaust for my year and configuration :bananadance:

If you find any one that has them please pm me! :burnrubber:

That's interesting about the donut gaskets not being there prior. I could see why they would have been more prone to leak.

The pRt #ptr108999018 shows on the box but can't be found within the instruction manual. I'm certain that it's the right y-pipe being the size and would line up perfectly to a two cat system.

Yeah these things were known to be leak city.

I got you man, only fair that you were the "Guinea pig" for these part #s. Hoping to get one within the next paycheck or so.
Yeah that's what puzzled me but they probably just switched up the instructions.
