In the meanwhile I'll just enjoy my factory turbo aka power ECT. I've also been playing around with o/d off and manually shifting since I'm in the hill country.

It's a variety of cucumbers and they make really small pickles. Pinky finger sized...

So I looked and for the 5vz they offer the 2.2" and 2.1" pulley. What gives with the 2.8"? Any smaller and too rich for the 4.0 I assume haha

different engine, requires different S/C, that uses different sized pulley's..

2.8" is as small as you can go with the TRD injectors and factory ECU.. even with the TRD flash. Any smaller, larger injectors are required.. which in turn needs an aftermarket EMS to run them.

As soon as Gadget finishes up the 09+ ECU for the Ucon.. or if I get impatient and just have one of the guys build me a harness so I can run it.. I'll be going with the Ucon, larger injectors, and smaller pulley :)

Just replaced these POS. Whole time I thought they were stock, going from pioneer 30w 90 dBs to JBL GX 60w 92dBs.

How much are those running? I'd like to change out mine too.

On crutchfield they were $115 but I got them off Amazon for $65. They sound pretty damn good for coaxials, especially with an aftermarket HU. Just have to do the back doors now.

Someone else's build with my touch
In my opinion I would run a stock pulley... I mean I run the 2.1. but with the stock you'll have great reliability and still have a big power gain
