dude yesterday at work, we found a computer in an old hub room where we're supposed to be pulling the new cat6 for this security camera job I'm working, found an old computer in there, still hooked up to some security system.

Tried turing on the screen and it worked, was running windows 98. I was impressed the computer and screen even worked. could barely even read the screen without wiping all the dust off it haha

We have two Win95 and Win98 PCs hooked up to some pretty old processing equipment. Some hardware in them fails now and then, but otherwise they keep chugging along. We also have several NT and Win2k PCs hooked to equipment that can't be replaced with anything new because the VB runtimes are so old and no one has the source for the applications.

Nah, I think the owner is just insecure. Don't see any reason to damage his obviously very fragile ego.

    From whose point of view?
From GM or their dealers, sure. Because they make money off of those and don't make money off Tacomas. But even if they did, from manufacturer and dealer point of view, the more stuff breaks outside of warranty coverage, the more money they make, hence "superior" in that respect as well.

Even Smitty knows better than to show up with that.

Now if it was a pic of a 2500HD duramax sitting on top of a crumpled taco, I'd bet Smitty99 got his new truck.

    Sad isn't it?
And everyone wants to put blue collard workers down like we're all idiots yet a lot of what we do is highly technical. We're the ones with dirty hands but clean work. While suits have clean soft hands but dirty work destroying the economy.

Not saying all white collard workers are terrible. But there seems to be this vibe that is always given that they're so much better than us.
