So with a full tank of petro the truck leans to the driver's side. Even worse with a driver inside.

What is the solution to correct this for a person that wants to keep their truck in basically stock form?

A puck above the left coilover. Same as a spacer lift, but only to correct the lean.

You'll likely need an alignment when done.

A diet for the driver and the truck. Less fuel for both!

New springs, or the taco lean spacer.

    https://motofablifts.com/i-30558289...for-toyota-tacoma-05-22-uneven-taco-lean.html

1/4 spacer makes a 1/2" lift on the front.

For the rear, just leave it and change out the leaf springs with a better than oem set in the future. Usually 60k or 5 years is when the tacoma springs start getting soft.

One last alternative is the famous Bilstien 5100's. You can change the perch and raise the front up slightly to match the right side.

The fact that your title is "Tacoma lean" leads me to believe you are aware of this in these trucks as a common thing. Also leads me to believe that being on this site, you know that thousands of people have seen this 'issue' and have made threads to 'correct' it. You have extra weight on one side. If you start adding spacers and such, you start messing with the trucks geometry. Basically stock form would mean do nothing and let it be.

It's caused by a variable amount of a consumed liquid. You fix it when you have all of the weight with a spacer, now you're too high on that side when your fuel is low.

That is an assumption sir that and is inaccurate, no search for the answer to my question has been performed by this Taco Pilot.

Your recommendation, if it can be called that, is to leave the truck alone. Which is the easiest thing to do. Especially since I just dropped the LCAs to replace the shocks and had I known about the spacer trick I would have better prepared for that mod.

So I should just never fill up past half a tank, get a chubby friend to ride along everywhere or fill up two 5 gallon gas cans and locate them on the passenger side and keep them full.

Knowledge is power my friend... and now you have the knowledge...

As @tonered mentioned... the easiest way is a ¼ spacer above the left strut. You mentioned replacing struts... by chance are they adjustable aftermarket struts? If they are then make an adjustment to compensate for the lean. If not then get a spacer.

Since I just installed new stock OR Bilstein struts I have reservations about adding a spacer and then being able to get the top nut back onto the strut shaft afterwards. There wasn't much thread showing above the hat washer as it was. The lean is definitely less now with new shocks. One of the OEM front shocks was leaking too.

You don't pull the top nut on the coilover. Just the three nuts that attach the coilover to the support. The puck / shim goes in there.

So it's not doable dropping the LCAs?

I didn't drop my LCAs to install 5100s that I had on the 4th slot (left) and 3rd slot (right).

Like I said though, a spacer will through off the alignment angles. Not much, but folks play in the 0.50deg realm for good road manners.

Got a stockish solution: A bicycle pump will cost you around $30USD. When you have a full tank, inflate driver side tires to 45psi, and deflate the passenger side down to around 15-20psi. Then it is just a simple task of deflating and inflating either side to maintain a level truck as you slowly consume the amber nectar that is throwing the truck to one side.
