Have: Cracked and broken tail lights due to a mixture of neighbor kids and BB guns. More importantly, I've got money

Want: 2018-2019 TRD/SR5 - red lens, black bezel or TRD Pros

Those are the black chrome. The full chrome is what came on 2016-17 sr/sr5

 

I had asked him and he said it was chrome. I thought it should be the black chrome following the first page guide but he said chrome so I didn’t want to take the chance.

 

I found this picture on an ebay listing a while back that shows the differences pretty well.
1 is black
2 is black chrome
3 is chrome.

You can see how much lighter red #3 is because its chrome underneath. #2 is dark under the red but has chrome around the reverse light. #1 is dark red and black around the reverse light

 

Thanks, that’s a great picture. I’d prefer #1 but if I get too impatient I’ll settle for #2 if the price is right. Just like many others I’m sure.

 

It definitely cleared things up when I saw it. You will want TRD sport/OR lights from a 2018-19 to get #1.

ohh, that’s tempting but I’m going to try and wait a bit to see if I can get a good price on the #1s. Thanks for helping and if I do end up with the black chrome, I’ll see if you still have them first.

 

Are you able to buy just the outer plastic for the tail light ? Like the shell ? Broke mine. Link if so ?

I have a pair off of a 2016 sport if you are interested. I can get some pictures this evening, but they look like #2 in this picture from ebay.

 

Smooth transaction from the above mentioned, I don't mind the chrome bumper at all coming from a 2012 SR5, the new lights with a little less chrome look great in my opinion.
