    Well let me chime in.
I do not think it offensive, or sexual, or gay, or whatever, and neither does the state of NY who approves or denies plates.
My vanity plates, which are scrutinized at state issue, found no offense in them.
No one says everyone has to like them, because I really don't care.
I like them and that's what truly matters.

I proudly, like others on this forum, drive my Tacoma with my license plates that say 4X4TACO

Now let's move on to a more meaningful thread and let the BS cease please.

Really folks? Arguing over the name Taco? Wow, guess some people just don't have a sense of humor.

Embrace the Taco, be the Taco.

Damn, I was #999 to vote NO...almost was the big 1000

Anyway, I was behind a black 1st gen last week pulling into Home Depot, it was one that has the small chrome badges up at the top of the tailgate, and I noticed the TACOMA had been chopped off to say TACO. I thought Cool, maybe they are on the boards here. But then I got a little closer and saw that it was just a black tarp in the bed that was hanging perfectly over the tailgate a tiny bit just enough to cover the MA. Dang it, it was cool for a second there though. :D

I like that. In fact I had Tacos and Burritos yesterday. The owner came out and saw my plates 4X4TACO, and was so excited that he took a picture and wanted to hang it in his restaurant to help market Taco 4 packs special.

I tried to explain to him, it had nothing to do with "food" but he insisted it was great. To me it's short for Tacoma, To him, it is a way to market his food at the restaurant. His food is great and I "Embrace the Taco" while the restaurant owner IS the Taco.

Anyways, that is a great decal. Embrace the Taco, be the Taco. Taco from Hell. Love it !

This thread needs to go away. The direction this site is heading is worse than "another site" I used to frequent. Bunch of children acting their age.

You realize those comments were two months ago, right? Is there really a valid reason to bring this back to life?

I second that! My 13 yr old daughter picked up on it and now calls it The TuRD. Pretty humorous. :)
