    Yeah, I'll figure out a way to make it work. Was going to bring the propane tank anyway as I now have an extension/adapter to make it work with the stove.

    I would be great if someone else were to bring along another 20 lb propane tank too so we have backup fuel.

    And no, it isn't running yet. Tho I am convinced it will and in time to make the tour.

    And, yeah, MT plans to keep the camp fire ban until there is a significant reason to lower the elevated fire danger. Which I read to mean significant rainfal. Which is not in the forecast before October.

    HAM radio only right now though, and not sure I have time to install a CB. May grab a hand-held, which will suck, but will be a short term stop gap if we're all using CB. (or can I get away with HAM?)

    went to your build. You've got skids and sliders.

    We can get you through it all. You won't be the only dude on 31s. @Speedytech7 will be as well.

    3 trails will have fun spots.

    Goose has a spot on it, but it isn't that bad. Worse then the last time everyone else was there.

    Boulder basin we will be going up. Will be fun for you. But you have a winch :p you have a locker?

    Shoshone lake and Christina lake in Lander will be the most painful for you. Not unpassable, just slow and may be stressful. Otherwise, you'll be good.

    And sadly no. Only three of us will have Ham. 4 with you there. Everyone else has CBs. Not a lot of decent handheld CBs. But we will be using the Hams at times so you should be good. We will keep you in the middle of the group so won't be a problem.

    Hmm, OK - so if I don't get a CB, staying in the middle will be great and maybe you or @Digiratus can keep me in the loop. Any good antenna hood mounts on Amazon (haha, right!); that's probably my only way of getting it in time.

    Both Mike and Ben run their CBs off the hood. Its a great location for it. If you get a full radio, go for the uinden 520xlpro. It'll fit in the ash tray.

    Rear locker, perfect. You won't have any problems then! Won't need a front on this trip.

    Insane you got time off so late and so much time off. But welcome!

    Sweet, will be great to tag along with you guys. The work situation was pretty crazy, but that's a story for in-person. I'd mentioned to Ben that I'd be in next year for any time, but then this year worked itself out! :yay:

    What antenna do you recommend with the Uniden, and I assume I'll need some coax as well. Even if I can't get it installed before the trip, I might as well get it all ordered.

    hey, if i can fab a new jerry can mount. Swap leafs. Wire in my lockers and new bed socket. Swap bed racks and tents in 3 days..

    You can get a CB installed :D

    Yeah get a 18' coax and i think ben has a 2' firestik and mike has a 4'. Both work good. I mean they are CBs. Nothing special about them anyways. Wire it to the battery direct and you'll be good to go. We can tune it for you on the trip.
