Be easy to find us. Not worried at all.

I use my lights all the time here. Just treat them as your brights and you'll be good. Hard with multiple switches. I need to finish my buss man high beam interceptor pcb.

Yep we will be doing boulder basin that day.

Not 100% on where we will be camping then. I'll text you though via APRS. So if you get a text from a weird number and it says KG7LSU thats me haha you can reply to it as well for 24 hours.

And that sucks. No more play mate for you.

What's the general approach toward on-trip meal prep for you guys on a trip like this?

I've found breakfast to be the biggest variant amongst folks - having done both the "keep it super simple, breakfast in the morning is cereal" and "break out the bacon, eggs, pancakes, etc.", I realize they are pretty different styles. What'll fit in better with this group?

And yeah, that salsa sounds great Mike.

Edit: and, will there be points to re-provision - like, a place to get some fresh fruit, more avocados, that kind of thing? (it's going to be hard to get avocados to last for two weeks! :D)

Well..that depends on what kind of morning person you are lol

We do mixed. Sometimes we cook eggs and stuff, other times we don't. We rarely rush mornings. There will be a few on this trip we will want to get a semi early start. But most mornings are chill. If you want eggs and the works, just wake up early enough. We generally like to be on the road between 9-10am. Nothing bad.

We always stop for lunch at some point whenever we are feeling it and find a nice spot. So thats chill. usually do like sandwhichs and stuff(cold lunch).

Dinner is also chill. Miek doesnt eat till later. Devin and I usually eat around 7. On some of the nights, usually the ones where there is less people, we can do a group dinner. Mike and I have done that and its fun.

The thing this year for food due to the odd number of people and when people are joining is to bring something to share. Like Mike's Salsa, my pickled eggs, or beer..whatever. Not required at all. But fun to do.

Yes there will be places to stop. BUT we will probably go a week before having a good place for food. Greybul most likely. Then Lander.

Red Lodge will have a nice place too but that's pretty early.

    Bridger..should..but i don't know. wouldn't bank on it there.

Another time indeed! I like your wheels :D haha

Perfect. Thx. Breakfast sounds like exactly my normal speed; ditto lunch. Dinners I generally try to pre-prep as much as possible so we're eating something tasty, but without too much mess/prep on-trail.

And yeah, I'm considering what to bring as the communal bit :)

yeah Devin and I like to go all out on dinner usually. But this year we are being a bit more cost conscious so only a couple "nice" meals. Otherwise we are doing more simple stuff this trip. But do whatever for dinner!
