Just placed an order for my next mod with @RockAuto. Time to ditch the gross carpet in my truck and replace it with an ACC inc heavy duty vinyl floor! :oldglory:

I don't understand - "switch backs"? Is this some modded switch Pack?

Switch backs are "dual filament" LED bulb replacements that have 2 separate colors. When I am in reverse my top lights inside the tail lights (which is where the turn signal should be) are white, when I have my turn signals on they are amber (just like stock)

1 bulb with 2 purposes. Amber turn signals that turn steady white when in reverse.

Never heard of those. Very cool. Need better reverse lighting for the RV, but the signal housings are red.
Maybe some LED floods mounted to the tail end of the running boards.
Going to have to look at Dad's turn signals w/ those switch backs in mind. Sometimes new tech. is good.

Nope, no noise once theyre tight. The only thing I dont like about them is that I cant open my hood when theyre on. Need to take them off before opening the hood which isnt ideal but theres not really a solution to it. My plan is to put them on before hitting trails. ill keep them in the truck. only takes a minute to put them on and take off.

If you reversed the nut/bolt & moved the cable end outside the mount by the fender; & put a spacer with a longer bolt through it up at the rack would that move them out enough to clear the hood, but still be funtional? Seems a minor adjustment might get you where you'd like to be with them.

It’s a good thought but they go up at an angle and will hit the hood when it opens if I do that.

That was the point of the spacer sticking out from the rack, so they don't angle in so much.
