I’m all sorts of pumped up about it. none of my local stores had them but the one near @DrFunker had a couple and he was able to pick one of for me and came down to my area this morning. Super greatful for his time and effort.

@Breakfast Taco all 6 point sockets that come with it... also if you buy the tool alone, its $99 on HD's website. so this really is a good deal I think.

LOL, I was recently chastised for having some 12pt sockets. Makes this even better.

I do my very best to only buy 6 point. It does make a difference.

    Always a pleasure!

No love. My HD has the tool only on a shelf w/ a $29.99 price tag, guy scanned it - in the computer $79. Called them Christmas leftovers. No kits. Bright side, I don't have any 3/8, so 1 less adapter I'll have to buy.
Good news is I have a new impact driver & bits to play with. "Needed" the impact driver for the bed swap. :)

    Congrats!
Only another 3 years to go on the Land Barge, if I keep it that long. I've been spending a lot of time online looking at the newly remodeled 2500's... :anonymous:

I picked up an old military trailer with a Lunette ring. Just a frame basically, that used to have a generator on it. Generator is gone, I dropped the rotted fuel tank. I just switched the bed on my Tacoma, the old one 'should' fit on it.
Plan is mount old taco bed on frame = matchy/matchy trailer. Put camper cap on it, put RTT on camper cap. Presto Taco camper.
OH - same 6 lug rims. Those steel taco rims I got from you - 2 will go on it.

I don't like driving w/ a cap on the bed, cuts down visibility too much. Didn't like the high weight of the RTT when driving. Hopefully having it all "self contained" on the other side of a hitch should resolve my annoyances & let me leave the tent at a site while I go off mudding or exploring... Having a Pintle/Lunette set up, less likely to be stolen I hope.
