I ran it across the top of the core support under the plastic cover to the radiator.

That's kind of what I did. I marked the hot spot of the old lights, and adjusted the new ones to match. I would like to do the real adjustment procedure from Stern's website, but I have no access to a level area 25 feet from a vertical wall. Also, I see no markings on the Tacoma headlights to indicate if they are E-code, VOL, VOR, etc. So, I wouldn't be sure of the proper adjustment anyway.

I looked them over again, and I found the markings, they are VOL. Very difficult to find without knowing where to look. These things should be marked better. Still doesn't help me find a place to do the adjustment, though.

My bulbs and harness arrived and looking to install it within the next day or so. Only thing I'm thinking about is if I need to adjust the headlight height. Since lifting my truck, I adjusted it once and haven't had anyone flash me, so I'm thinking my height is good for now. But once this new setup goes in, I'm excited to have it much brighter, but also concerned about blinding others. Anyways, just thoughts. It's going in soon :).

Pros are labeled VOR. I also don’t have 25’ of perfectly level surface, hence my matching stock method.

Cut offs remain the same with the setup. Watch where your cut offs hit your fellow motorists.

My truck is the base model, and doesn't have the sport/pro package, and my lights are labeled VOL.

I finally got to drive on some mountain roads with my new headlights. They are much better, especially the high beam range with the GE +120 bulbs. Adjustment must be reasonable, I didn't have every other car flashing me. I'm sure there is some difference in the low beams as well, but the high beams were noticeably better. I'm still going to try and find a place to do a proper headlight aim procedure. I know a farmer who may have a place in his big machinery shed.

If you just need a flat wall + 25ft of level ground in front of that wall, you might look at some public school buildings. No, it probably is not perfectly flat. But it could get you close.

We’ll see if the 100/90w Osrams can hold on to the title of brightest bulb.

WOW! What a huge improvement over stock, I’m really impressed! For the longest time I wanted to do a retrofit but not on my PRO headlights. Where are you guys ordering the bulbs from? Not that I need it anytime soon, have 4 bulbs just in case lol!
