I'd expect them to immediately relist without the photos that they don't own.

Ah right, these claims usually take a little to before it gets sent through anyways. Maybe I can contact dealers and order lights tomorrow before it gets taken down. Which reminds me, I best better pack it in for now. TTYL

They've changed their policies recently. I live not far from that dealership and order parts from there often. I used to be able to pick up the parts there, but they no longer do that. Maybe you can have someone order the lights for you, and have them shipped to you.

Agree with your assessment, @crashnburn80 - very lazy BS!

Unrelated to my Tacoma, but Shelby Performance Parts did the same thing with a (circa 2015) picture of my Shelby's engine bay to hawk their billet caps. They're installed on every GT500 they turn into a Super Snake in their facility, but they were too lazy to take a pic of their own.

Ah, makes sense. thank you for clarifying that. So I guess my only option would be to buy from the states then, since not many dealers are gonna supply parts for a truck that never came here. Maybe that's why they were so expensive

I did see they recently added a rule that if we are buying fasteners (Nuts, bolts, clips) The minimum order is 10+ pieces per part. But I didn't see anything about them just now only shipping within the lower 48, seems like that's something they've always been doing.

I did consider shipping it to a family friend who is often in the states, but they're currently in Canada, and will only return after new years. And I'm not sure if they would be willing to ship it, so they'd have to drive the lights back, and who knows when they'll return.

I think right now, my best and really only option is to order them online somewhere that ships to Canada. even if that includes $200 shipping. Also, due to the Canadian $ being as it is, it looks like $400 usd is about $600cad...

You could have it shipped to a post office across the border.

Is there a way to then have the post office ship it to me? If so, that could possibly work, and i would most certainly look into it. Just don't feel like driving 6+ hours one way to pick up a set of headlights.

I installed the recommended harness and the recommended bulbs today. Man, this is awesome, easy to install the harness. The worse part was getting the bulbs out. Osram 100/90 was the bulbs I went with and I am happy I did. Thanks for the tutorial and all the work you put into this.

    Take care

So you would say it's truly worth doing the mod? I've been looking at it, and working my way towards installing it on my truck. Just not quite sure if I'm ready to bite the bullet yet.

Yes, it's worth the money and time by far. I was contemplating trading my truck because the headlights sucked so bad. For 150 dollars and a half-hour of your time, it's the best bang for your buck you can do to your truck hands down. I also have done the heated mirror mod, both of these mods are necessary IMO.

Haha ya, thats what most smart people would do. Trying to save a dime right now if I can. Just get the headlights installed and then actually drive my truck. Still gotta get tires so pockets are tight

Probably not, but "TW Express" (i.e., members of your TW family willing toreceive and re-ship to you) could probably get it to you... ;)
