The ones they include in their XB headlights for 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen. They lack compliant uplight and provide a blinding cut off to the driver, where you cannot see beyond the low beam due to no uplight. Not a product I would recommend.

Ah, same product as those reviews? Thanks.

Ive debated on testing their super7 which is just a single M bi-led 2.0, but it appears to have all the same flaws. Frustrating.

Received harness and 4 super bright bulbs last night. Installed this morning and you guys weren’t kidding about how easy it was to hook up. I can’t wait for it to get dark so I can compare these to my old Morimoto fx-r 3.0 setup. Now to find a good replacement for fog lights, currently running morimoto fogs but want something brighter

    Your answers are here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-led-sae-j583-fog-pod-fog-light-review.554813/

Check out the Diode Dynamics SS3s linked at the top. You can see how they compare to the low performing Morimotos in the original post of the thread. For fog/poor weather performance, I'd strongly recommend selective yellow, especially when paired with halogen lights.

Based on the recommendations of our very own @crashnburn80, my 2014 Tacoma had the ultimate Headlight Upgrade (with the Osram Hyper bulbs that are NLA) along with Diode Dynamics SS3 Max selective yellow fogs, plus a 30" Diode Dynamics Stage all driving pattern LED bar. Man do I miss that lighting!

I must be thinking of someone else on here. I remember they had a 4wd that was lowered, seemed like it was white also.

Neither of my high beams work, swapped bulbs and no dice…relay related?

Check the fuses first, then swap a high beam and low beam relay.

Here’s the thing, my light bars and ditch lights are wired to my high beams…used as a trigger to my relay harness. My aux lights come on when I switch to the high beams but high beam to my headlights.

Pull a bulb and check the highbeam filament. What type of relay do you have for the aux lights? If it doesn't have a flyback diode or resistor, the high beam circuit could be experiencing a high voltage spoke every time the relay is opened. That'a about the only way I could see the highbeams failing before the low beams (given the typical use of lowbeams greatly exceeds high beams).

Pulled both bulbs out, replaced them and no dice. I’m not sure what kind of relays they are, it’s whatever came with the lights.

Try switchin’ relays. Could be a bad one. Just a thought…

Just unplugged the high wattage harness, put the bulb into the original harness, high beams work through the OEM plug. Safe to say it’s the harness and just a relay, I’ll play with it once it becomes warmer, it’s -15 here lol!
