Another ultimate headlight upgrade! Used the Headlight Services harness and Osram 90/100 W H4’s. Plug and play for the harness. I want to build a bracket to mount the relays to the open bolt holes in the engine compartment. Does anyone knows the bolt size?
Pictures are low beam…..low beam with stock 55w fogs…….high beam with fogs.
DD fog upgrade in the future. Thanks OP and others for all your work!

Finally got around to getting the upgraded harness and bulbs installed yesterday and used them this morning. Definitely a nice upgrade in the low beam area, and the high beams are crazy bright. I went from PIAA bulbs which did great, but am glad I went this route!

Well, at least you cleaned your windshield before taking the pic. Mine mostly showed off the fact that I was out of bug fluid when I gave my example of a completed install. You will really realize what a benefit you have made for yourself when you drive someone else's rig after a few weeks. Nice going!

I did this upgrade to my 3rd gen 4Runner today and wow, what a difference! The aging stock lights were truly abysmal on that thing.

Hey, another 3rd gen 4runner guy! What year, and OEM or aftermarket lamps?

    Love my 4runner! It’s a 1997 SR5 5-speed with OEM 2000-2002 headlight housings.

Even with the stock wiring, you're miles ahead with the fat-lip era lamps. My sister had a '97 in that same color

    It’s meh
Hello TW. Newbie here. I’ve lurked for about a year but wanted to thank you all for this post/thread. My current chinesium headlights are peeling and fogging and was going to buy a pair of the light bar/projector units. I stumbled upon this thread and have decided to stay OEM with these mods. Although more expensive since I’m buying a new set of trd headlights I like not having to worry about them peeling or fogging and still having increased lighting. I just pulled the trigger on a new set from https://parts.toyotaofdecatur.com/cart.aspx I got them for 168.02 a piece which is the cheapest I’ve found so far in case anyone else was looking. I’ll start in the rest of this kit but wanted to get the most expensive part out of the way. Thanks again to crashnburn80 for posting the info.
    It’s appreciated.

It has just come to my attention that the links in the thread for the early 2nd Gen assemblies have been changed by the dealer to point to the Pre-TSB lights. And they list them as replacements for the post TSB lights, which is incorrect. I'm unsure of this is a parts availability thing and will need to search more when I have time.
^They updated the part listing to the preceding part, then listed this as the part the proceeds it?!

    Per the TSB:

That is weird but you are correct. I've been looking for 81150-4210 but cannot find it anywhere.
Just looked at camelback site and found the following:

sense we're talking about it, are the assemblies complete or should some of the other parts be orders along? (sans bulbs)

There is a separate part number for ‘loaded’ assemblies that come complete with all bulbs. Which of course cost more.

Those come on all units. It is just bulbs/no bulbs that is an available difference.
