    They will be whiter and project light further, but they will put out less overall light. It is an excellent bulb choice for a high performance stock wattage bulb.

    These are what I currently have, had zero issues, just a little on the dull yellow side for my liking. Great bulbs, just wanted to try something different.

    Yep, I saw in the earlier post. The 85/80w Hypers are a bit whiter, but they are no longer available. You should like the Nightbreaker Lasers for low beam, they are about the best stock wattage bulb out there.

    Just a couple pics of the head light services harness duringinstall. Super quality piece.

    Ran all wiring with existing oem wires. Where the headlight harness plugs into the oem lightbulb plug, I put a tiny ziptie in addition to taping it for a security. The pic that im pointing to the ground on the fender is where the battery grounds and thats where I grounded the harness. I think that should be sufficient. Fired up the lights last nite and although hard to tell a major difference, i am still running the oem bulbs for now. 121C5E8F-E2C9-411E-BA89-1AB87D052CD6.jpg B11DA65B-28C4-4160-B072-09F132B3900C.jpg DEB1769D-D39A-457B-9C44-F3E5DB350A65.jpg

    Nice! The harness will help the output of the OEM bulbs, but the OEM bulbs are a long life low output bulb. To see the benefit more you’ll want to run a high efficiency performance bulb or a high wattage bulb.

    @crashnburn80

    Can you please remind me,when adjusting the bulbs, how many feet I have to be away from a wall and also how far up or down my beams have to be?

    This. I need to do the same thing. In addition to the harness, I also did new headlight housings and their out of adjustment by a little bit.

    25ft from a wall on a level surface. Here are the instructions from Mr Stern:
    https://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/aim/aim.html

    What I generally recommend, is if your OEM lights haven't been messed with, change one light at a time. Align the single new light's horizon with your remaining existing light's horizon so they are the same. Then swap out the remaining existing light with the other new light and align it to the previously aligned new light. Far simpler than trying to recalibrate with no base line.

    I was poking around the Internet to see if anyone made a H4 bulb somewhere between stock wattage and high wattage. Those Osram Hypers would have been perfect. Too bad they're discontinued. I can't seem to find the Tungsram +120s for sale anywhere either. Looks like I might go with the Philips Racing Vision +150.

    I used to have Nokya Cosmic White bulbs. I thought they performed decent, but they didn't have the greatest life. (One always inconveniently died when it was below freezing). They had a coating that was a yellowish-blue. The Nokya Hyper Yellow H10s I've had last well over 5+ years.

    Somewhere between stock and high wattage would be the 80w IPF Fatboy II Superclear X4. Don't look at the price though, it is scary. I have a set in the garage to compare, but was not super impressed with build quality for the price.

    There were also these Chinese 85/80w bulbs I tried several pages back. Their quality was higher than I was expecting, they didn't perform up to the 85/80w Osrams and I would not advocate for cheap Chinese products. It would be interesting to compare them to the 100/90w though, I don't currently have any on hand.

    For the Tungsram, look under the GE Megalight +120 label, they are easier to find, but still seemingly all out of Eastern Europe. You can find them on ebay from international sellers:
    https://www.ebay.com/p/2-X-H4-Halog...ne-60-55w/13022250303?iid=282742270347&chn=ps

    Just don't confuse the Megalight +120s with the +130s, since the +130s have a blue coating over the high beam.

    Just placed an order. I'm not too worried about the blue coating over the high beam since I rarely use them. I went with the Philips +130 over the +150 for the longer bulb life. Also decided to give the restoration kit a shot.

    @crashnburn80 & @slomoe

    So I installed the harness today. Very good quality. Followed the directions. Even had the same placement as @slomoe . Turned them on and tested. All good.

    EXCEPT...

    Now my front (after market) and backup (OEM) camera are not working. Radio still works. But no camera. Any ideas??

    Headlight circuit is completely independent of OEM reverse/camera circuit. Did you disconnect your aftermarket front camera power lead in installing the harness?

    No. The front camera connects directly to the radio through the harness it provided.

    Shouldn’t be related then. As far as the truck knows it is still proving 12v to the headlights. Just the harness is taking it and drawing power straight from the battery. Really little change in electronics behavior and not something that would affect cameras or radio.
