When did you order yours? I ordered on March 13 and haven't heard a peep. I don't expect it to be here yet but an update on the time frame would be nice.

Just to make sure i am reading this right - the harness plugs into the OEM harness on the driver side but not on the passenger side?

That is correct. The relay just needs to detect voltage to activate, which it can do from one side, no reason to have both sides connect.

Don’t touch both battery terminals at the same time. :)

I had to laugh. I HATE electricity! I know next to zero about it, except that it can hurt or kill me, and I must look like a cat on speed at a rocking chair convention when doing anything electrical. My wife dropped something in the garage while I was hooking up my bed and under hood lights to the battery and I almost ripped the front end of my truck off on my way into the closed garage door! She was laughing sooo hard...yeah funny shit...I literally had to talk myself out of throat punching her.

FYI - According to TRS, the Morimoto ground-up LED based headlight assemblies that are being released for 3rd Gen, are now being designed for the 2nd Gen.

Edit: correction. They haven’t decided if they will be complete assemblies for 2nd gen or what sounds like a retro kit.

Yep! Works for all first gens and even pickups before that. 97 and earlier require a 200mm H4 conversion.

Look what I found today in Jula store (Swedish version of HF):

    upload_2019-3-22_14-20-20.jpg

I did not know that Philips is making 100W H4 bulbs. Now I know, and you know too

I was thinking about buying it, just for the future project if I have nothing better to do (I don't have headlight harness), but it was only one, so I decided to pass on it. For now :).

By the way Jula in Poland is the closest store to HF in USA (as for assortment), but the stuff they are selling is much better quality than HF brands. For example they have brands like Ryobi, Bosh and DeWalt. Love that store.

If I remember correctly it was around 50PLN (around 13 USD) but I found them also on line for a little over 32 PLN (8.50 USD).

A HF style store with quality offerings would be awesome! I always thought that is what Sears needed to do to survive, spin off the tool/hardware division and model after HF in smaller stores.

I do have the Narva 100/90w H4s to try. Supposedly Narva and Philips are made on the same line in Germany (Philips owns Narva).

I see that Narva available here in Poland for about 2 dollars:notsure:

    upload_2019-3-22_15-31-36.jpg

It does not look like it is from the same shelf as Osram or Philips.
