My wait continues. I'm to the "Preparing Update" phase. My friends are digging it so far.
Anyway the wu-fi I'm mooching isn't just super strong and it doesn't help that I'm looking through the 1st Gen Taco forum.

Has anyone else noticed an extreme loss in battery life after switching over? Verizon has been fucking up all day long and no one in my area can get 3G so that might be a factor but its weird it happened on the same day as iOS7 released

Did iOS6 have default wallpapers that moved when you tilt the screen? I never used the apple wallpapers before but now in iOS7, if you set one of the pre-installed wallpapers and tilt the screen different directions it appears as if the background is moving giving a 3D effect.

Most likely thats going to be the factor for draining the battery, i'm running LTE (4G) it runs smoothly. There cell towers near by where i live.

Not 3D but did notice the background moves while you tilt or move side to side. its not just default wallpapers its anything you apply.

Got it installed and was a bit bummed out at first. It's growing on me and I like how you close out applications now than before. In case anyone hasn't figured it out, double tap the home button then flick or slide the apps you want to close up.

Nope, it's the same for me (maybe even a slight improvement, but i'll know after a few weeks of using it, not one day)

I like the iTunes radio feature, but it's annoying that if you enable it's use on 3g it also enables auto updates over 3g, which will eat up my 2GB of data.

Good call. Way to be a total dick to someone who has no control over the situation. Maybe you should have used your brain before upgrading - have you EVER been able to downgrade your iPhone? No.

Just finished my iPad mini and am playing around with it. Not 100% sure if I like it but I want to spend some time with it before I give my final verdict. No issues with doing the upgrade over wi if at all. All in all took about 15 minutes from download to start up.

The iTune radio is badass, when connected to wifi... when you stream music on wifi and leave your wifi zone to switch over to LTE, it doesn't work as fluidly as Pandora does.. meaning mine didn't work at all.. lol. Jacked with it for a few minutes before giving up and turning Pandora on. They need to make it simpler to find the damn iTunes radio option too.. why not make an icon for itself instead of going through iTunes or music..
