Dude I just went to look for it and now it's not there. It was just there a second ago and I set it to some gay tori Amos song and now it's gone. I'm looking into it now. Will report back when I figure it out.

My bad... False alarm people. You can set music for your alarm which I think has always been there. I assumed it was the same menu screen for general ringtones. I'm stupid.

So what about apps not working on this new iOS7 platform? One of my favorite apps does not stay open for more than about 30 seconds. Not compatible yet?

    Thanks

Does anyone know how to delete certain text messages? I can't find out for the life of me, I can only see how to delete the whole conversation

Hold your finger on the message you want deleted.
A bubble will pop up saying "copy" & "more".
Tap the "more" icon and it allows you to select what message you want to delete.
The delete icon is in the bottom left corner.

My biggest complaint with the new os is that I can no longer shuffle my songs of a certain genre. I have to make playlists of each genre just to be able to shuffle them.

Some features listed in here that I hadn't heard about yet.

Like "Use SIRI to turn on/off bluetooth, wifi or put the phone in Airplane Mode". SIRI warns that 'it' will not be usable in Airplane Mode. Not sure if that means you can't turn airplane mode off with SIRI.

Has anyone else noticed that with iOS 7, now when you get an alert (i.e. text message, app alert, etc.), and you swipe to unlock, it no longer takes you to the app that sent the alert? Is there a fix for this??

if you swipe on the alert instead of the rest of the screen it'll still take you to the app.
