    Morning everyone...

Not to rub it in, but I sure don't miss those days.... they sucked BAD. There is only one benie to wearing a chem suit in the winter time - another layer to keep you a little warmer. I usually ended up working nights as well.

Stay safe and keep your head down.

Thanks, I've always hated PLAYING war. That gas mask is one thing but to take it off after you've sweated in it for a few hours, let the freezing air get to it, then have to put it back on....I'm shivering just thinking about it. At least the MCU-2 mask is much better than the old M17. I would get claustrophobic in the M17.

I know the army has a new mask. The Army didn't like the MCU-2 because the face piece would get scratched real easy.

Hell, when I was stationed at Incirlik AB, Turkey in the 80's, we would have to wear that p.o.s for 6-8 hours at a time during Alarm Black conditions. It got so bad that I would take out my drinking tube a put my cigerette in it a smoke. It didn't work too well but I did get my fix.

LOL, I would wear my walkman @ Ft. Drum ah the memories! I remember the XO wondering why I was so damn happy during our ARTEP.
Honestly, whether its M17, M40, M45, MCU-2, they all stink!
Sorry you gotta go thru that MM.

    bye FSC...see you tomorrow!

Morning Delmarva. Man it's snowing here - not much accumulation, but I've gotta work... no playing in the snow

What was really bad was wearing a new suit and being covered in charcoal when you took the suit off

    Have a good day FSC.

Man I am so nervous about this I feel like slamming down a few drinks to calm down (if my knife wielding daughter wasn't home on suspension from school today I probably would.) I got and accepted the offer already but Monday is still 6 days away and anything could happen before then!
