quick story on 'fridges: my father had a kenmore in his garage for years. one day the freezer was getting too cold and the fridge part wasn't getting cold enough. he called sears, they sent out some contractor guy. guy pulled the circulation fan out and showed it to me, the date code was 20 years TO THE DAY earlier than the day he was there! that was freaky.

20 solid years to the day without a problem. i dunno who builds 'friges for sears but that's who i buy from now!

My Parents had a Kenmore fridge in their Garage and it worked FLAWLESSLY, until one day it just stopped working. My sister was learning to drive, and when she pulled into the Garage, she hit the accelerator instead of the Brake, and drove the Fridge into the house. Actually.....now that I think about it.....it STILL worked after that.

    Nothing yet, brand new!
Speakin of fridge or fridges.. My experience so take it with a little salt.
Kenmore fridges seem to be the most reliable in my personal experience followed closely with Fridgidaire. The new Kenmore units are nice and reliable. I have never had a problem with mine and have a really old one in the garage for drinks and water/beer. It's 30yrs old and works fine.

Dishwashers, go with Maytag or Whirlpool, not Kenmore. I have one and every 3rd month I have to reset it, some electronic goofy thing..

Range, go with Tappan. Yes, Tappan.. They build old school ranges with new technology. Heavy cast iron grates with porcelin enamel. Thick coatings on the surfaces, heavy gauge steel bodies. Old school welting/metal gaskets in the ovens. Good stuff.

This is for all us NORMAL folks who can't afford Viking and professional appliances.

    My .02 on appliances.. :D

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
You may want to look into replacing the 30 yrd old fridge. You electric bill will thank you. Plus, purchases of energy star appliances are tax deductable.

Somebody catch me up for the day. Got 3 flights in today, went to lunch, and now I'm sitting at home waiting to go to the Doctor's office.

Chris4x4's wife beat the crap out of him when he was taking a shower. She pwned him. He is seeking revenge in a non-violent manner. All suggestions welcome. He has a thread started for it.

    hmmm...

Well went to the doctor. He is sending me to get an ultrasound to determine further what the issue is. That appointment is on Tuesday, so I've gotta keep waiting. He gave me an anti-inflammatory/ pain killer to take some of the pain away. It still hurts right now.

I guess we'll see. Thanks everybody for the well wishes.

Sort of--Del went to the doctor for a problem, but Hasn't said what the problem is. He also mentioned that he had it narrowed down to two possibilities on WebMD, but not what the possibilites are.
