    Shit we did the math and when we are in the states working 45-55 hrs a week we are making between 10-12 an hr.. in the desert workin 72 hours a week (With desert bonus pay) we are only makin just under $15 an hr

    That is nothin.. if you are an E-1 - E-4 and your single and live in the Dorms on base in the states the extra you work in the desert averages out to make you get paid the same in the states.. Its the married guys that live off base that see the increase in pay based on the hours worked

    I did that.. its called a "Dity" move.. when i came brom basic training in Texas to NC.. they paid me $.70 per lb I had to way my Truck empty.. fill it up and way it with everything then drive here.. give them the weight recepiets.. and days it took to travel.. I ended up pocketing like $300 after gas and hotels
