    Morning, IR! :)

Im pushing thru a new level of "Sleep deprivation".....therefore, I cannot be held liable for what it type. It does seem, however, that my sentance structure, and spelling improve with no sleep.......Pehaps I should have not slept in college?

I hate Ikea.......I think that store is the "swiss" or whoever they are, pissed off because they cant make a spaceship, or cool airplane, so they have to put a fucking living room set into a 4" box, then they have their kids write the instructions.

It is good furniture for the kids. Relatively cheap too. Of course the only way to properly assemble it is with beer in hand.

    She's gone but not forgotten.
I bought an Ikea end table with the intention of hiding the living room UPS in it. It had a book rack on one side. The door could be made to swing either direction.

I put it together. The rack was on the wrong side. Only one of the sides had holes for the rack screws. So I took it apart. Got the rack on the correct side, but now the door swung wrong way. Took it apart again. Put it together again. Now the F**KING door AND the F**KING rack were wrong. By this time I am getting ready to use it to start next weekend's bonfire. Not enough beers in Florida to cool this flame.

My (now ex) wife sat watching me the entire time with a "concerned" look on her face.

She says "take it apart one more time". So I did. She sits there and tells me which way to put which piece. It turns out correct this time.

I have years and years of mechanical experience. She can't get bread in the toaster correctly. WTF over????

EXACTLY why I wont buy that shit!
A while back, About 3 years ago, Ikea had a new store grad opening here. Its the only one. Wife HAD to go to it. We waited in line for 30 mins, just to get in. After about 2 hours, Julie found some furniture she HAD to have. She bout it. We got it home, and I began to assemble it. Things went horribly awry, and peices wouldnt fit together. After an hour of screwing with this peice of shit, I got my tools, and some beer. Now....to be clear, I cant drink a beer without a starting shot of jagermiester. That may have been an issue, as mixing German Liquer, American Beer, and Swedish jig saw furniture privides for an outcome of this:

Yes. This is all thats left. I dont remember what happened to the rest of the "Product".

Wow, this is the first bad experience I have had. Usually everything fits together nicely. I just got one box with a fork hole in it (stupid me for not turning it over, but it weighed 104 pounds) and the other I may have screwed up, but I will never admit it.
