    John, hate to break it to ya...but Apple doesn't make HDDs. They use (probably) Seagate, WD, or Hitachi.

    I dont have any problems with Vista to be honest.

    There's things that XP does better than Vista, and theres things that Vista does better than XP.

    My laptop first shipped with Vista. First thing I did was install XP on it (buying with Vista was like $100 cheaper and I have XP and Vista discs, so why not save $100 and get rid of all the bloatware in the same punch.) Ran XP for my whole freshman year. Ran Vista in the summer. Then shortly after starting school last year I dual booted XP and Ubuntu. Now, this summer, I'm running Vista :rofl:

    I'll probably be running XP in a month or so if I follow the trend haha.
