I.T. Manager. Ironically enough, the company I work for supports a mortgage platform that is wholly owned by a Salt Lake City-based bank.

Needless to say, I know all about the month-end rush.

hoping its not the flu, they made me get a flu shot a few weeks ago.

 

so do i, i like to sleep it off. im struggling to stay awake now.

halloween was good, my lil sisters had a good time, i walked around with them.

 

We do our best, but it's a chore to keep up with all of the shit these people break. Then of course, we get the guys that think they are tech savvy, telling us what the problem is. It's a whole thing.

I don't have any personal experience with Websense, but there are proxy servers out there that will sometimes work. Here is a link to a forum that is talking about it - I have no idea if this will work or not. I also do not recommend the part where they suggest adding entries into your host file, unless you have experience doing so.

we have a wood burning stove, works awesome, wood is free too.

 

yeah I agree, I have a small stove too but not enough to warm the whole house. We have radiant everywhere else fired off the natural gas furnace. Its usually cheap to heat unless the pressure switch breaks.
I hate being cold & least now its good through winter & the shop I use are super honest, arrive on time, do an excellent job.
I have had some horrible HVAC service which sucks in Vermont winter.

We use an outdoor chunk wood stove at our camp. You can put anything in that stove, huge chunks of junk wood. It heats the whole place radiant. I love it but not allowed in the city limits. Our next place will be more country and will go back to wood.
