My ex and I used to get into the stupidest fights over that one. She wanted to take her time to read the menu and that would irk me to no end.

"Damnit woman, it's a taco cabana. Their menu was the same last week as it is this week, which doesn't really matter since you order the same dang thing every time anyway. If you really must take 5 minutes to read the menu, can we please at least go inside where there isn't a line of hangry road ragers behind us?"

And that's why I always associate the drive thru with a night spent on the couch.

 

Random thought I had in the kitchen:

What makes you flinch more, popping a champagne cork, or opening a tube of pillsbury biscuits?

 

Pilsbury for me.

 

How about a coil spring compressor settling?

 

LOL. I miss Taco Cabana.

I taught my kids that you get it like they make it. No special orders at McDonalds. You know how bad they screw things up at McDonalds when you special order stuff? I remember going through with the neighbor and her spoiled kids that want everything custom, and they screwed everything up, and nobody got what they wanted.

Oh, and Pillsbury. Makes me jump every time.

 

Unless that person has really thin fingers, that sure as hell looks like a .30 caliber bullet to me, not a .243.

My cousin helped me tan this whitetail hide about 10 years ago and it’s finally starting to limber up, maybe in a few years it’ll be as nice as my kangaroo hide.
