    We have one of those houses in the neighborhood- every square inch of yard is covered by a POS shitbox or misc junk. Maybe 8 cars/trucks. Trashy house. Whatever. We're used to it and don't notice it anymore.

    When we first saw this other house, while out walking on a street we never drive down, we weren't quite sure what to think. It was just so... unusual and unexpected. After the initial "what are we looking at?" thought passed, we decided it was charming, quirky and we liked it. Are they plastic, I wondered? So I went up to one and knocked it. Metal. Bronze? So not cheap.

    I went by there today and found they added the giraffe to menagerie. One of these days we are going to knock on the door to get the story. I bet it will be interesting.
