    you really have to have a taste for it, and the quality is a big factor. i never really cared before, i used to love jack staright and then i got into more of the 12 year single malts and my inlaws gave me a 15 yr single malt. the taste is smoother and the finish is nicer on the 15 yr. less burn with the older scotches i find
