    38 is friggin freezin for us thin blooded floridians!

    the kid slept from 4:30 yesterday afternoon until 8:30 this morning. she's doing her room now. gonna help me with the garage later, last weekend i had to hook up a new tv at my girlfriends house and i emptied about a dozen totes to find some cable. truck will be after that.

    We got heat pumps. They're air conditioners that run backwards to make heat. Incredibly inefficient. This house I'm in, when I first got here I went up in the attic to run cables where I wanted them for the satellite. You can see the top of the rafters, maybe 3 inches of insulation up there. So when it gets cold out it gets cold inside too!

    I know what ya mean. I can be driving around with the windows down in fifty degree weather. But if I have a passenger the heater is cranked, windows up :mad:. I can't sleep at night if the heat is set over 67 I'll roast.

    i'm on the southern edge of Kentucky, 11 miles from the border and 1 hr. north from knoxville and it is 8*F sadly there is no cloud in the sky so no snow but because of the temp and kids waiting for the bus we got called off
