Sooo she drives straight but now runs the cab mount on the driver side. Never rubbed before so he had to jack the Castor up. They were even on the screen and print out. So where do I take it locally to us?

Matt uses goodyear in Belton. I haven't found a great place, but the Toyota here did my specs no problem.

They are $100 for the alignment, though.

What were your specs. Is that a universal thing or tailored to each vehicle

Honestly it's tailored to each vehicle, but there are some specific considerations.

For caster, you want to push the wheel as far forward as possible in the wheel well, without affecting steering at speed to ensure nimble turning at speed, but also clearing the rear of the wheel well. It's not really necessary, so i say when you start the alignment, max-out positive caster.

Adjust camber next, because with a lift, the wheels gain positive camber pushing the top off the wheel away from the vehicle and reducing the context patch at rest and when the wheel drools, that positive camber is increased further reducing your contact patch. Camber should be set at zero, because most of your driving use on the road, so it'll even wear on your tire, but also allow better contact patch during wheel travel.

Toe is adjust last. Ideally seeing toe at zero will mean when traveling in a straight line you'll get even tire wear as well. The spec on toe is give it take .03 degrees (I think) from zero anyways. Toe will get your wheel straight, as it's adjusted with the tie rods.

    Hope that helps.

My specs are ? Caster, ? Camber and factory toe. I'm in your boat right, now.

You will have a hard time to find many (or any) places that charge over $100 for an alignment.

Timely post... I used to wheel Jeeps and no place here in Waco area could ever get a lifted vehicle with larger sized tires spot on. Buddy suggested Southern Tire and have used for about 5 years now. They did an outstanding job each time so I have been going back since. They charge $75 but are first come and get busy I'd be there at 7:30 if you can. I just had my Tacoma aligned yesterday another fine job and I have lift and larger tires on it too.

Do you remember when what they set your castor at. That’s the problem is that a lotta shops won’t set that as positive as they can
