The Wait is Over | Falken WildPeak MT

Well, just did my 10k tire rotation. These bad boys are down to 14-16/32nds (new being 20/32nds) and that is with the spare being rotated in. I am not impressed with tread wear, but other than that I love these tires.

 

No Tread wear warranty will not work for me. Thanks for the review.

Hi, Dave-

In 265/65R-17, the A/T3W is only offered in standard load (4-ply) rating. If you want LR-E in this tire, you'd have to bump up to 265/70R-17 - see the link below:

I have another question for you. Why aren't the wildpeak a/t3's available on discounttire web site or locally?

 

The WildPeak A/T3W is not stocked at the store level in all regions of the country, but it can be ordered in no problem.

I checked the Albuquerque, NM area and I see both the 265/65R-17 A/T3W and 265/70R-17 A/T3W listed. May I ask how you were searching?

 

I did a lookup and didn't see any of them in stock. Weird.
I really want to try these but I scared about the out of round problems they have been having. I like having
more in stock in case the stock isn't any good.

 

Hmm, that is odd. Maybe try searching by size instead, assuming you were searching by vehicle.

As for stock, if there is an issue replacement inventory should be available in as little as 24 hours.

 

I looked by vehicle and didn't see them. Looked up by size and they were there. Ht and at3, no mt's.

 

dlopan, keep in mind your local Discount Tire store can special order pretty much any tire you are looking for at no extra cost.
