Greetings fellow Tacoma fans. My wife and I just received our Magnetic Grey 2023 Tacoma we ordered nearly four months ago. We are retiring a 1998 LX 470 as our tow vehicle and general adventure vehicle. We tow a 22 foot sailboat and a small camper. We wanted a base model and come to find out they are / were harder to get than a full blown TRD. We wanted no frills, utilitarian and basic. Turns out when you upgrade from a '98 470 - it's more tech than we've ever had! I had a single cab 1st gen and LOVED that truck. So, hopefully this one will go the distance (as if there was a question). I think the base model (for what we do) is the best value in the Toyota Fleet. I'm sure we'll have questions. Thanks!IMG_4422 copy.jpg

I had a 95 single cab back in the day - wasn't crazy about the color it was blue ok but not what I would have picked. I had no choice I was poor, it was used lol and what I could afford. Decided to get the color I wanted and wait this time. It was worth it!!! They last so long - you have to live with that color a long time!

Yes, all indications right now are the 2024 will be a turbo-4 with perhaps some hybrid options.

It's a beauty!!! Good luck with it. I can't tell form your photo, is it an Access Cab or 4 door? What motor did you get?

Congrats on your new truck. Did you "order" a 2023 or did you think you were getting a 2022? I'm asking because I put money down on a 2022 back in July and now beginning to wonder if I'll be getting a 2023.

I think all the 2022 have been shipped. You are likely getting a 23. We literally found a dealer that first, wasn't adding an extra few grand on for the "market adjustment." Then we had them look at their future allotment and found our truck and put a deposit down. I never dreamed a basic SR in this color would be so hard to find. Good luck!

I appreciate the response. The '23 doesn't really add anything to my truck(already has push button start) but just wondering. My dealer doesn't charge market adjustments so I'm good there.
