You need to contact other dealerships. Like 50 of them. If you are close to Bob Smith, then you have about 100 dealerships within 100 miles
That's not how the Vin numbering works

So my sales guy just sent me an update on my TRD sport MT. Just a couple more weeks and my bank account starts getting lower and lower. :bananadance:IMG_34011.jpg

That's such a low price for your 2011. What model is it?

Pictures or it never happened. I find it hard to believe that any dealer would waive the $900 delivery fee

Our trucks are probably sitting right next to each other. I also have an M/T that's scheduled to leave for the dealership on 5/12 and our VIN numbers are very close. The normal delta between arrival and departure date from the VPC is about 3 days. Dealer says that it is taking longer because they're checking the Transmission Fluid on each Tacoma before leaving the port. Personally, I think that all manual transmissions should be given a fastpass to the front of the line.

Base Reg cab manual 4x4 no options. Been hit twice by cars last time was almost $7000 to repair. Auto shop did a beautiful job and most of the truck is new but it tanks the resale (Carfax blows). I could get $12k from a private buyer but I'm happy with $10500 and $100 under actual invoice LOL on a vehicle no one else could get me before July I'm happy. If I hold out for more on the trade the price of the vehicle price gets higher. (you know the game).I had 6 dealers quoting on this build and this was the best I could do without going out of state.

You and me both. Been reading alot of complaints about the AT fluid levels being off and also the u joints being a problem. Here's hoping that the port checks them and they both come in ready to go:fingerscrossed:

Can't wait to start shifting those gears. Been a long time since I drove a MT on a regular basis and even then it was a 305 3 speed K5 blazer. And this way the wife can't drive my truck :bananadance::bananadance:

Ordered my OR DCLB 3/22. Just went by the dealer to see for myself the date on the screen. It shows born on date of 5/20 and he states delivery is usually 1-2 weeks after that. With a little luck, or at least no bad luck, ill have it for Memorial Day weekend. I'm stoked!

Truck arrived at the dealer today! Finished all the paperwork and requested the suggested inspections. Pickup on Saturday morning!

(Anyone have issues with getting the run-around about the inspections? I requested evidence of the inspection and hope that will motivate them, if not I'll have to talk to Toyota directly)

    Ordered 2/21/16; Built 4/22/16; Delivery 5/4/16; Pickup 5/7/16

Still waiting... My DC Sport LB has last six VIN digits of 0086XX, so looks like only 8600 DC Sports in LB have been made? Couldn't find or get one from October 15 until April 16. BTW, what area of the country are you and how long did it take to get your Taco from production date? My truck was shipped on 4/27 and I am still waiting to get it in Oregon.
