If it was that easy I would have done t by now. I'd drive within 500-800 miles if I found one. I search Cars and CarGurus about once a week to see if any popped up. Find me a DCLB Quicksand with Towing and Tech m Premium w/o JBL for sale.

Need 3 pedal and a real color + moonroof+ 4x4. Had to go out of state for it, now waiting 4 more weeks for delivery

My dealer looked for 2 weeks for my desired truck, and there was only 200 total AC MGM TRD Sports in the country that were not already owned...and they were all reserved. But if you want whatever build and whatever color you could do that. My dealer has had a 2WD for months...doesn't work for what I do. There is a waiting game thread for a reason...o_O:rolleyes::cheers:

Anyone still running VIN checks? I'd really appreciate it.

I didn't want a weekly update on mine because I know it will take forever thinking about the truck.

If you're bored and waiting on your truck, at least you can take solace in the fact that it'll be safe for you to travel in when you end up receiving it...

About 8 weeks since I first spoke to my dealer about finding my truck... It finally arrived yesterday. Assuming they can get it through service today I should pickup tonight! :bananadance:

I'm sorry to hear that...it seems like a common theme on this 3rd gen forum with double cab long beds having a huge lead time. I guess all configurations take a 2nd seat to the DCSB at the factory. :facepalm:Maybe it's the totally realistic commercials of explosions while towing lazy boy recliners in the desert...

Game over for me. I picked it up 6/7 after build date of 5/27 in TX. Couldn't be happier with my 6MT!

Ya for me I can't haul my race bikes and generators to the track and back in a 5ft bed my current truck is a prerunner ext cab with 6 ft bed. Buddy has a 5ft bed and we can't fit anything in there. It's useless unless you own a bicycle

So I went to pick my AC 2.7 4x4 truck up... only it wasn't 4x4... salesman screwed up and ordered a 4x2... He swore that's what I wanted. I'm like dude, here's the emails that show I wanted a 4x4. No wonder the price seemed so good... So............................................. I went to another dealer this morning and bought the same truck only upgraded to DC and 3.5L. I'll be happier in the long run.

Put in the order for my truck a couple weeks ago. Getting an Access Cab, 4x4, 6cyl, w/ MT. Comes w/ Towing and Utility packages.

The dealer quoted me 3-6 months... so I've got a while to wait. Due to the timing, they weren't sure which model year it is going to be. I ordered a '16, but it may end up being a '17. Kind of a pain the ass, but I am getting the truck I really want.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to it. I have some time to plan what sort of accessories I am going to be putting in it.

Just got an update and it looks like the truck is on the train to be delivered between 6/18 - 6/22. Looking like I'll have myself a new toy early to middle of next week!!

    :dancingbacon:

In other news: Anyone looking to buy a "slightly used" 2003 Volkswagen Jetta TDI GLS 5-speed with 204k miles on it? New turbo, clutch, and larger injectors to boot!
