    I don't know how it happened. I took my beautiful, big and black 2014 DCLB TRD Sport in for her 15,000 mile service. Perhaps I was a bit hung over... The local Toyota dealer has a wonderful playpen for us boys. Wisconsin and Illinois were having at it on a gigantic TV. I was happy... Then they slinked over:
    "Hey Johhny, you want to see to the new 2016 Tacoma?"
    "No!" I say. "I just bought my truck last year, and I f**kng love it! Why would you ask me such things?"
    Then there was a fuzzy memory of playing with a moon roof. Warming my nut sack with heated seats on a cold Portland Autumn day. Hearing the strangely quite engine as I hit 80 on McLoughlin Blvd. And now I have a rental car (paid for by the local dealer) waiting for a new Sky Silver OR. How? How did this happen?

    2016 Tacoma MGM DCSB 4X4 TRD Sport Delivered to me 11/20/15
    So.... Once there's an actual build date is there a pretty accurate time frame to when it actually hits the dealer? I'm traveling from Alaska to the Portland Area to start my vacation (AND pick up the new ride) and I'm just wondering if I should trust the estimate to schedule travel plans. The ferry back to AK only runs once a week SO, if I miss one week, I have to wait another. My plan is to fly down on a Thursday, pick it up Friday, then head back to AK the following Friday. My build date (I was told is 10/28) so I'm hoping I get it around 11/12-13 so that I can be back to Alaska by the week of Thanksgiving :).

    My build date was 22nd. Dealer daily doesn't show any changes yet. Arrrrr. Not sure when it normally changes. I guess after built and sent to port. Was hoping it would go a little early like a couple others here.

    Stock... For now...
    So I ordered a white TRD OR Double Cab 6 speed manual 4x4 on September 23. Got my build date today. Its scheduled for Build December 9. Hopefully I get it just before Christmas!

    5100's @.85 w/ 1/2" shims in back 265/75/16 tires
    I ordered from Brian at Dayton Toyota and seems like a good experience. I had emailed 6 different dealers and they had the lowest price (500 over invoice) and it was a pretty seamless process.

    just playing the waiting game now....my truck has a build date in november, hopefully they run ahead of schedule.

    wow, december, I placed an order right around the same time for a TRD OR DCSB manual with minimal options (mud flaps, bed mat) and got a build date in november and I was upset about that....I guess I should be happy it is not december.

    Awsome so I just got my spec sheet and they have that POS bed cover on my build sheet. I told them I want it off the build sheet I don't want my bed cover all cut up ! WTH?

    Miracles can happen.......I got my build date today 12/14 for an MGM 4x4 DCLB sport w/ tech no jBl and tow. The dealer thinks it will be in around the first of the year. Ordered on 9/19......

    put a deposit down in September, got a build date of 11/5 as of 2 weeks ago....dealer is stealing an allocation from a dealer in CA...or so I'm told. Ordered BBP with JBL tech pkg and tonneau.

    I'm just not sure why anyone would order a Tacoma rather than have the dealer try to locate one. Chances are your dealer could locate a truck with matching specs sooner than your truck will be built. It's not like there's that many options to choose from.

    Yep, try that first. My dealer found what I wanted and had it there four days after I paid the deposit. And I specifically wanted a red Limited.

    First time posting and ordered my new Taco Blazing Blue Sport TRD yesterday... told it would be about a month. My sons birthday is November 23rd, so I hope it arrives near then. I've wanted a Tacoma since I was 16... and 16 years later, I'm almost there!

    First post!!!

    I have been impatiently waiting for my Inferno TRD 4x4 Double Cab. I ordered it Sep 17th and was told late October and yesterday was told it "hits the port the 4th" and could be a 1-2 weeks after that. I live down the road for the San Antonio plant and was hoping it was being built there :annoyed: lol
