    Has anyone on here had experience with a dealer doing a BOS change on a truck for them? My dealer told me that was what he was going to have to do in order to get the truck I wanted. I told him to order it 3 weeks ago. I talked to him last Friday (12/4) and asked for an update. I was told the first BOS change failed and they would have to put in another and let me know when they hear something. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Should I talk to a new dealer? The only problem is the dealer I have already talked to agreed to sell me the truck at $400 over invoice and everywhere else has told me they wouldn't even attempt to beat that.

    As for temp vins, your dealer needs to get one in allocation before they get a temp vin.

    Yeah waiting for a manual is a bitch... I ordered my 6mt OR on Sept 23. It finally got built Dec 4. From what I understand they only make a small batch every month or so.

    My truck was built Monday, 12/7. Two days ahead of schedule. Delivery 12/20-12/22. I'm trying to be patient. Order was placed the first week of October.

    Talked to the dealer today, said truck is being delivered tomorrow morning, and can pick it up tomorrow evening ! Yea, the build date was 11/21 if that helps anyone. Still won't believe it till I'm driving away with it.

    My TRD sport DCLB with tow & JBL was ordered on 11/5. After waiting 5 weeks I stopped in today. Dealer said it will be built first week in January and delivered the first week in February After I left I realized that he didn't give me an actual build date. I'm getting impatient. It will be 4 months till I get the truck from when I ordered it. This seems long. Is it normal?

    Today was the day! Ordered 10-9 Received 12-9. with OEM roof rack, and ARE V Series Topper with Yakima rack. Getting Vision Fury Blue/Black wheels installed tomorrow. Thanks to NoDak for finding a wheel that fits the OEM tires! I think they will look pretty damn sweet with the topper! Everyone on here is right, the pictures just don't even compare to standing next to it, both the lines and the BBP color. Wow! It really puts the 2012 OR I had to shame. The cabin is WAY quieter and the engine has a totally different feel. Well worth the 8 & 1/2 week wait!
