    Truck was built on Friday and is being processed for transport from Mexico tomorrow. Should be here sometime next weekend! They also gave me the Perm VIN

    So after ordering a dclb OR in quicksand a week or so ago (dealer allocation) with a build date of 1/11, I called my dealer today and he has a dcsb OR in quicksand with tech/prem in stock. I pulled the trigger and am picking it up tomorrow. Only down side is it comes with pre installed options I don't want I.e. Mud guards, chrome tip, cast alum running boards. Whatever, if anybody wants or needs these options, I'll hock or trade. I'm in AZ. Super excited!!

    I do now lol. After scoping tw for awhile now it was a hard decision but I'm inpatient and I can make the sb work for everything I need plus it looks great to me

    Well I thought it would be nice to have but it wasn't on my orig allocated truck as that wasn't an option. So initially I was fine without but glad this showed up and I get that package.

    Well, mine "was" to be at the dealership yesterday. Took them this long to call me and tell me oops, not here. "Should" be here by Thursday. Ummmmm.... yeah, we'll see. I'll believe it when I see it. No explanation for the delay, not even when asked.

    09/28 Put deposit down and was told ETA beginning of Dec.
    11/01ish Told it was delayed to Dec 22nd
    11/27 Got a call saying ETA was delayed "a few" more days.
    12/04 Went to dealership to check on things. Was given a temporary VIN that was dated 11/28. Was told if I didn't mind blk interior I could have one sooner. I said ok.
    12/14 They called today saying it should be in next week. Possibly Friday but don't get my hopes up. :fingerscrossed:

    If it wasn't for this thread and seeing everyone else wait and wait and wait I think I would have assumed my dealership was jerking me around. This is the first group therapy I've ever been too. Thanks everyone!

    I went to my dealer last week and they realized after talking to me they can't BS me thanks to all the info being shared on this site. I asked about build day, dealer allocations etc... And they seemed taken aback. Keep sharing everyone, knowledge is power

    Hey Z50,

    So I'm in Socal and looking to order a DCLB OR PREMTEC JBL, What do you think is the wait time I'm looking at if I order one?

    I've literally scoured all the California Toyota dealership online inventories and can't find one that fits my description.

    Should I just wait for one to come in and try to find it or should I just bite the bullet and order one. You mentioned in an earlier post, there are about 15 DCLB's coming in every 2 weeks?

    I'm thinking these DCLBOR's are still going to be rare as time goes on...especially here in Socal.

    Same here, looking for same exact build in SoCal, but I'm willing to pass on the JBL if it came down to it. I too have been calling like a mad man. I did find a dealer that has them, but they are out of state. I have a feeling there some on the way to SoCal soon.

    Yes, knowledge, skill, and experience is power. Most dealers don't think any of us know about their system or even about cars in general. You know more about the trucks than they do because they don't care about them like you do and will.
    Did you get any kind of numbers yet?

    There are 15 DCLB OR coming into greater LA region every allocation cycle. I think there were 15 more with premium tech jbl package as well. I don't think they had any listed without JBL at the time. Those numbers could have changed but that was the early allocation numbers for this region.
