    Mostly stuff I built.
    After 8 weeks with no word on the truck I have on order I called in and opened a case with Toyota corporate to see what he hold up is with Gulf States Toyota distributors. 60 days is more than enough time to have picked up a customers order and at least get it in the pipeline on dealer daily.

    My dealer has been great and I have no issues with the dealership or the sales staff there. They have put up with my regular calls (read: annoying the hell out of them.) and have given me all the information that they have gotten from GST. I informed my dealer and they fully understand my reasoning for opening an inquiry about GST not picking up orders

    Just got call from Toyota informing me that order was completed this morning and should be in the pipeline in 2-3 weeks. So I'm looking at 8-12 more weeks till delivery.

    I just got word today that my truck is in freight status and should be here next week. I placed the order on the day before Thanksgiving but the dealer wasn't able to put the order in until a week later. They originally told me not to expect it until closer to March. Once the order was placed and the dealer got a build/delivery date, it was estimated for mid January. Sounds like they are working hard on meeting demand and stepping up production. Or it was the ole under-promise-over-deliver method.

    Mine was born today,3 months to the day from my order date.I got the dealer to admit there was something wrong at the Baja plant and thats what has been the delay,I hope it's not some quality control issue that comes back down the road!

    Awesome news finally!!! I couldn't get any answers for the delay but just hoping whatever it was they corrected it before ours were made.

    I went back to the dealer today after I felt like they dodged a couple friendly emails of mine checking in on the status. My order date was exactly a month ago on 11/23. They originally said "6-8 weeks." Now I'm told that build date is around mid-January and I'm looking at first week of February to drive off the lot. I did get them to knock down my interest rate down by .5% and they are honoring my original trad-in quote no matter what. If I wanted silver or inferno instead of black I could have taken home a truck today. Holding out for what I want.

    New member, I'm a Toyota technician from Calgary working in the Largest Dealership in Western Canada, I've owned many Toyotas and this is my first one with under 200,000kms haha.

    Ordered a Silver Access Cab V6 OffRoad! It fits in my small garage :)

    Will be here on the 28th! I've got Weathertechs coming, HID's Ordered, Vinyl Inlays for the Tacoma bed ordered and will install winter tires once it arrives. Will post pictures.

    Just got a text telling me its waiting to be put on a train and is set to arrive Jan 27th.. Weird thing is yesterday was our build date (21st) , got told that had been pushed back till the tomorrow (23rd) and now its built....? Huh? :confused: Maybe he's messing with us and it will be an xmas present.. :cookiemonster:

    • Ordered on 12/13
    • At that time, I was told it was on a train in Montana and would be at the dealer for me on/around 12/21
    • On 12/18 I was told it was "in Portland" and should be ready, "hopefully tomorrow"
    • On 12/20 told it was still in Portland, not sure why it's not ready, but hopefully in the next day or so.
    This dealership does not know how to under-promise, over-deliver. Sigh. At least it's in their best interest to get the transaction done before the new year — so they can count it in 2015 sales figures...

    I was given Dec 13th as arrival date. Then Dec 17th. Then a window of Dec 19-22 and it just arrived today, the 22nd. So yeah, I understand your frustration. Someone upthread mentioned holiday time and increased cargo for trains to carry, may be delaying auto shipments.

    Ordered thanksgiving week and given a temp vin. Told 6-8 weeks for a trd sport long bed, dblcab bbp with tech and premium. Keep bugging them but told no change and they are waiting for it to turn "f" status for hard delivery. Its a reputable dealership but they seem oblivious to all the build day, allocation, lingo I keep reading on here. They say late jan early feb to northeast
