A new shift is being added - I am not sure how many many shifts current running - would doubt they would go 24 hrs a day.

 

Placec the order today for a TRDDCLBOR
Told me 10-12 weeks.
Most likely sooner he said, we'll see.

 

9/28 ordered - no build date - nothing!

 

9/17 order date for a Magnetic Gray DCSB Sport w/ JBL. Expected delivery date from the dealership is middle/end of November.

 

My understanding was that it was just a Saturday shift being added in San Antonio. There are 2 shifts being run weekdays.

Don't count on it...I ordered my DCLB OR on August 24th, Build date of October 31st. Arggggg. Nothing additional options added to it other than the tow package.

 

Apparently they are being sold faster then they can be built OR people are ordering allocations Toyota is not making a lot of. There was a sheet floating around listing the number of each model and options being built. There were a lot of 0s on that page of combinations and options

 

Just ordered on Oct 7: TRD OR AC AT in MGM with prem/tech (no JBL) and tow packages - nothing else. I was told 8 weeks, maybe less. Not expecting less though.

 

Ordered White TRD Sport 4x4 ACLB w/Tow, PT non-JBL on 9-17. Delivery from 10-19 to 10-23!! Can't wait.

 

You're lucky. That's a fast turnaround.

 

I would ask for a build date on that. Also they are building more sports than they are ORs. A salesmen I spoke with said my OR LB is the only one being built right now within 500 miles in any direction. He tried to see if he could allocate another one, but there weren't any.

 

Get a lot TSS Models in my area - SR5's (guess) stripped down model that Houston outfits with sort of semi packages (what ever they want added) - actually have better tires for off road on the 4X4 - white letter Goodrich. I am paying a lot for Sport and when it comes in I am having to buy off road Goodyear -from dealer and no swapping - so another $800 for BF Goodrich Rugged Terrain T/A 17 in 265/ 65R - tires that come on it will not get you very far in swampy woods. Plus I have climb a wet muddy levee 25 feet high at a 40 degree with a trailer and 4 wheeler - so more money for tires. When hunting season is over will change back to the (Yoko or what ever they are) street tires. Street tires on a 4X4 ????? Go figure? Climbing that levee (seems straight up) is a kick - when you get to top - truck is pointed almost straight up skyward.

 

Not sure what the "LU" means, but dealer says it should be here before the 19th.

 

Yeah I am curious what the activity code and location dates mean. I ordered my 9/18 and was sold a build date of 10/27 with delivery mid/end of Nov. Anyone know?

 

That leather sure will be nice, wish I could have gotten it on my OR. Not sure what to think about cloth heated seats?

 

I wonder if the Location Dates are when they are to arrive at the distribution centers? Maybe the letters indicate the name of that distribution center? Just guessing....

 

Dealer quoted me 6 to 8 weeks for my DCLB OR Quicksand/Graphite with Tech and Tow. Order is going to be submitted tomorrow morning so the dealer is going to get back to me with a better timeframe. I'm hoping that they can secure an allocation and get it here sooner.

Hmm do they have them for the 2016?

 

I wanted a manual and ordered one 9/30. DCSB 4x4 Inferno TRD Sport. Will be built on 10/26 and here the first week of November.
