Shit, I just remembered I need to redesign/reorganize my garage layout. 18 inches doesn't seem like much, but I can tell you that is the difference between standing between the work bench and the front of the truck with the garage door closed and...not.

And need to look at rigging a one-man cap lift. Will need to remove all the windows and rear door seal for painting.

Damn, forgot to list this too, so nice having somewhere to park bits and pieces of my brain...
    High-clearance exhaust cross pipe

The first time I looked under a 2015, I remember thinking What In The Actual Fuck Is That, this is a 4x4? Come on Toyota.

I keep remenbering things that I'm forgetting. So to speak.
    • Redline hood struts (sitting in garage, derp)
    • Trim mud flaps. WTF, Toyota, they hit speed bumps. 2nd gen FTMFL.

I think I need one for the cap and one for the RTT. Or at least that is how I will plan it. I think an RTT is at least 5 years out though. If all goes well, I will be able to hoist over the teardrop's spot and it will hang over the trailer.

But by then, who know if I will have a totally different garage :spy:

Just stumbled upon. I also unfucked the rear storage and wouldn't you know it, I can actually use it now.

Well I searched through about a thousand pictures and this is all I came up with.
    storage bins.jpg

Logic would follow that the picture directly after this, showing how these bins are just fucky enough to where I can't store my tools, would be of them removed. But if you take into consideration that I'm retarded it all makes sense.

I'll get one tomorrow. There's so much more room for activities!

Well I already removed them once during recon, on the first page of my pics. My red tool box, which fit perfectly under the driver seat in my 01 Xcab, does not fucking fit anywhere in this 2nd gen cab. ANYWHERE!

I bet in the 2016 they suck even more, because they figure that market only needs enough room for extra go pros, batteries, tampons, and crushed dreams.

I don't understand the storage in the Tacoma. They enclose the area under the seats and replace it with a puny bin big enough for bungie cords. They instead put the "large" storage behind the seats with harshly restricting bins, even though this is a midsize truck without proper legroom. Why not have under seat storage and a few more inches of room back there?!

Exactly. Every opportunity for storage has been minimized. I thought, oh, I'll put my ice scraper/snow brush under the driver side back seat...well, if I am careful, and twist it in at an angle, so then it's not flat and wasted other space. Oh I'll put X here...or not. I'll put my hitch wrenches and ball mounts...here? No.

    Fucking really?

This is what happens when you let engineers do this shit and not real humans.

Any time I have passengers I scoot all the way forward. It isn't uncomfortable for me that much and I can tolerate it for the peace of mind that my passengers are comfy - because if I can't haul people this DC is useless.

My passenger side front and rear usually have to negotiate though. :p
