    Dude, WTF? You've got a red wire nut on the white wires and a yellow wire nut on the black wires!!??!? You trying to burn down the whole neighborhood or something? Go buy some white and black wire nuts or hire a qualified electrician.

    Listen to me - I've got a degree in this shit...

    (P.S. I grew up in a house that was 1940s construction in So. Cal. Pictures bring back fond memories. I recall a two gang box with four outlets in it in which two outlets were on one breaker and the other two were on another breaker. Boy did that give my dad a surprise. Somewhere we've got the screwdriver with a big notch in the side of it.)
