Hey fuck you guys. Been wrenching my ass off. This took me 7 hours.

    T Mac phone holder

Interim measure until I figure out other electronic gizmos and options. Work great, inexpensive, great service.

Why do I feel like I might have already posted this?

I have a cheap ass one that I bought nearly ten years ago. Thankfully I've never had to use it but there are times that I question how durable it actually is. So thanks for posting this up.

Speaking of safety equipment, buy and mount a dry chemical fire extinguisher. I think everyone should have one in their vehicle and keep it maintained. We spend roughly an gross annual paycheck over the lifetime of our vehicles modding the shit out of them but when it comes to safety (survival!) we cringe at spending a dime.

We live near the confluence of the two biggest rivers in that state. I've been working on flood management plans for the last three years.

But we all use bridges. Fires are also a hazard.

I've been watching a lot of videos of various tools. The biggest issue with window breakers seems to be that without a carbide or ceramic breaking tip, you're fucked.

If the electrics aren't fucked, roll down the windows as fast as possible. You have one minute. If you touch your cell phone, you are going to die.

These won't take up much room, and not for long. They will go on right after Christmas in prep for the arrival of more suspension parts.
I am looking forward to dramatically better pedal feel. This second gen brakes feel like mush compare to my 01, but in all fairness, it just had new Centric rotors and pads installed and had a stainless extended line on the rear. It will be nice not having 4 balloons at the corners, and have all the master cylinder pressure actually arriving at the pistons, especially coming down the Sierras fully loaded.

I've had a set on my PreRunner for the last four or five years. Zero issues. Just make sure you buy some quality flare nut wrenches. Otherwise, breaking the flare nut can be a pain.

Just replaced my wife's brakes with a Power stop Z23 kit. Nice parts. I'm sure it'll be even better when I replace the frozen calipers. :( While I was installing everything, I took the time to look over everything and like I said, those Goodridge brake lines are still in perfect shape.

Thanks for the good news. Well these will be going on a 18-month old truck that has barely seen any dirt and no snow during a drought in Mediterranean California. Hell, I'm only at about 12,000 miles with my short commute and zero fun trips since I got it LOL. I have a set of Craftsman flare wrenches I bought for fuel line work and they pretty stout. I don't anticipate the job being too bad.

I'm planning on doing some other work while it is still this new too, like LCA bushings and alignment tabs, or any shit notorious for crapping out on these trucks.

Wise. Might consider installing the ECGS needle bearings. Nip the problem in the bud.

Oh. I'm tagging you in another thread. You might find it highly useful.

In time. In. Time. So much lower on the list right now. Tracking developments on Android head unit development in the meantime. Starting to get reports that the much bally-hooed Joying unit from China is starting to show its...Chineseness.
