The numbers also change from year to year. This year it's 110 & 111 and depends on whether your b-day has passed. The "10" in 110 represents 2010 as in the last year you had a b-day. If you got 111, then your b-day in 2011 has passed.

So next year (2012) the two numbers will be 111 or 112.

And the year after (2013) they'll be 112 or 113.

    And on and on...

So for example in 2011 I am now 40+70=110
    Come October I'll be 41+70=111

    In June 2013 I'll be 42+70=112
    In October 2013 I would get 43 + 70 = 113

    In June 2025 I'll be 54+70=124
    In October 2025 I'll be 55+70=125

    Get it?

There's a little more to it, but that's the general idea. There are of course big exceptions. For example, someone born in 2002 who is now 9 would get 11 and not 111. That's because they were born in THIS century. The "100" only applies if your birth was last century.

    This isn't surprising...

Years from 1900 to the year of your birth (last 2 digits) + years from year of your birth to present (your age)

= years from 1900 to present...
    Duh :D

D io get a party pooper award?
