All that's left is the field work.

The other crimper finally came good on the Molex connectors, but it was a bit fiddly. Some of them I had to crimp twice or it would mess up. Good thing the terminals came in 100 minimum counts, got some good practice in.

Well, at least I knew what I was doing with the wiring. Fuse box goes in tomorrow and at last a test of the bumper light.

I had a fairly hard time getting through the firewall grommet. I used an awl, a pair of scissors, but it was like the rubber was healing itself. Then I got out a drill and that finally opened things up. I used butt crimps to divide the 12v ACC signal wire to both switch locations, and then again at the switches themselves. I used some great wiring harnesses from @kmorgan3 and also some great advice via PM. Temporarily placed the two switches in the lower dash panel until I can get a MESO cubby pocket panel.

Today should bring install of the Bussmann, finally. Need to put it in, then cut to length the positive and negative wires. Then hopefully there is enough daylight to approximately wire up the bumper light to where it will be installed and finally test that out.

Then it's back to playing the waiting game: bumper shipment notification, and a mounting bracket for my winch cutoff.

Well, the fuckups continue. I didn't include the male terminals I need to hook anything up to this box. So yet another order and yet another shipping charge and yet another period of waiting.

I may be able to still do everything I want today by just sticking the bare wire leads into the connector to test the light.

    The install is finally done.

Temporarily hooked up the bumper light for testing, and that works too. Hooked up to the wrong button, but that's okay.

Wednesday delivery! Then I'll need to get it down to Packer to be powdercoated. I don't know what their turnaround would be.

The interesting thing would be if it came already powdercoated. The email I got said it would get back from PC before it got sent out, but I didn't pay for that. Probably just a stock email response, but weirder things have happened to me this month.

LOL, no. Not powdercoated. Just saw my box on their IG, and it clearly states bare. Which is fine. On the way!

Bumper not here until at least tomorrow, but unfortunately I have about ten hours worth of Zoom meetings. So I won't be able to drop it off to get powder coated until at least Friday. That likely means I won't get it back until Monday, which means a lost weekend. Next weekend is pretty well out as well. One damn day delay in getting delivered turns into two weeks unless I can take a day off of work.

Yay, it's here. Now the challenge is to find someone to powder coat, since my recommended person isn't doing it right now. There's a place literally around the corner, trying to get in touch.

This place was huge, I couldn't even find where to find the guy I talked to. Will try again tomorrow.

It'll take around seven business days, which is fine. I'm busy next weekend anyway, just means I likely won't get up to the AOP at the end of the month ride. Will have to break it in some other way.
