Then and now- post your builds

thought it might be neat to see all your hard work from the day you took your trucks home till now. If you are willing would you post your before and now pics-

I bought mine used in November of 2017. Had around 6700 miles on it at the time and i got a good trade on my 2011 dc tundra.

When I got home I had the trd pro grill waiting and removed the air dam right off the bat.


Not long down the “road” after that I got wheels and tires. Then started working on the interior things. Seat covers, upgraded sound, any Meso stuff I could get ... got brave and with the help of a buddy (and after reading countless threads on here) upgrades suspension a little bit with oem and Bilsteins 5100s- put some light racing UCAs on and a add a leaf pack

@little bear how do you like that taco Tunes sub enclosure? Did you get the sub from them as well?

 

Subbed. Love seeing before and afters..gives me ideas for my truck when I get one. Looks great! Crazy to see how different it can look with some upgrades

 

Yessir... been pushing a Jl audio 1/500 amp and it fills the sound very well in the cab. I did the suburu tweeter upgrade and put kickers in the doors along with sound deadener in the doors- my biggest sound upgrade may have been the pioneer headunit though

Here’s my work in progress

 

The Tacoma is my wife's daily, so we've kept it practical and low key. We're running ADS COs and rear shocks, TC heim joint CAs, IVD add-a-leaf with ToyTec u-bolt flip, 285/75R16 KO2s on Method wheels, Nitro 4.88s with an ARB in front, ARB twin compressor under the hood, Pelfrey front and mid skid, BAMF t-case skid with exhaust re-route, SwitchPros 9100 with the SDHQ dash mount, Rigid D2s in the stock location, and a 30" Cali Raised light bar behind the grill. Planned upgrades will be the SDHQ hidden winch mount with a Warn winch and a shell (undecided what kind). We'll upgrade to Alcan leaf packs in the rear when we install the shell.



The truck also comes with the requisite back seat corgi!
