    Because he didn't read the manual.

    Your killing me smalls! I had a feeling this was going to happen, but so soon? Did you get an owners manual? HINT...it's in the glove box... in front of the passenger seat...on the R/H side of the truck as you face forward looking out of the front window. The passenger seat is the one that doesn't have a steering wheel in front of it.
