People on here say things like the cold air intake would have no affect on your warranty claim and Toyota would have to prove that the cai caused your engine failure. That's just not true. Clear as day the warranty card says that it's illegal. Obviously pulley cannot be changed also. Yeah Yeah we all do it, and i'm going to. But bet your ass that I'd with back to factory before taking it back to the dealer. That's pulley and CAI as far as I'm concerned. If something could just be swapped before the dealership finally see it, why take the chance? 0818150953.jpg

Toyota Vehicle Warranty is not Equal to the TRD Supercharger Warranty you posted.

    Two different animals.

    And what DoorDing posted X2

All in saying is that the addition of either of those things voids the warranty. Not that it's the Toyota warranty. That's it

Previously on here I saw it said that it would be up to the manufacturer to prove that the defect was caused by the CAI. Clearly that is not the case.

If your truck breaks down and you have a CAI installed, they won't automatically blame it .. they still have to prove the CAI caused the failure. Even then your whole power train wouldn't be voided, only a particular part. Why is this a discussion?

The question originally posed weeks ago, can't remember who asked it or who answered it. Was about cais and smaller pullies and the affect they would have on a warranty. I remember the question because i wondered it myself as I was waiting on my charger to show up.
Flat out. I only posted the exact warranty because it was a gray area. NO smaller pullies are allowed with the charger. That was the only thing I meant by my post.
