thermostat/housing part number?

    Hey y'all,

    anyone happen to have the part number for the thermostat/water inlet sub-assembly for the 3rd gen v6? I've been scouring the toyota parts website and can't find it. It looks like I have to get the entire assembly? and not just a simple standard thermostat from the autoparts store?

    Anyone do this work on the 3rd gens yet? I've found like 2 posts about thermostat problems but that's about it.

    I suspect my thermostat is bad and having trouble staying open. driving home is fun as a result of that.
