these don't look good...

    03' here...changed the oil tonight and did a little looking around and saw something rusty. im specifically referring to the nut (and pin that used to be).

    i want to replace both, any tips?

    Those are fine but if you are super anal about it they are just cotter pins. Bend them straight and pull them out, replace and bend them back over.
    New castle nuts are a dealer only item I would bet.


    That would be a silly waste of time and money though, there is nothing wrong with those. If you don't like the little rust you can grab some rattle can rust paint and spray them on the truck. Just make sure to shield the entire back of the rotors to avoid overspray.

    If joint is still good i say keep. that nut sure isnt going to back itself off anyways.

    yeah joint is solid, just some surface rust. i may sand off some rust and repaint. thx guys.
