Picked up a used FJ on a deal I couldn’t pass up! Yes the miles are high but it’s been a 1 owner, Toyota maintained rig. This thing sounds NEW! Engine sounds like it doesn’t even have close to 310k miles, runs and drives amazing. No leaks, previous owners never took it off road the inside and outside are incredibly clean for the age of the rig. I wish I would’ve picked one up sooner because these things are nice. First thing on the menu is to change all fluids, grease ujoints, brakes, and give it a good polish and wax.

Right? I’m hoping my 4runner gets to these crazy numbers:D
Not a single issue on the FJ besides needing to replace wear and tear items as they pop up. Got it all polished and wax the other day, thing drives amazing for its age and use.

Congrats! It looks like it's in great condition. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay? My son recently purchased an 07 with 223k miles for $11,500, but the clear coat is gone on the hood, 1 rear panel dent, and 1 corner bumper damage. It's 2wd with a locker and auto lsd. Drives great and now I have another 1GRFE to help maintain. I can't wait until I have an opportunity to pry the keys from him and take it for a drive.

Didn't know you can hear mileage in a motor. That's new.

Higher mileage engines have more wear and tear than a new engine, so if not maintained properly they tend to have auditory signs of that wear that you can hear:thumbsup:
