For real I own a Pawn Shop for the last 20 years.

 

i paid cash for mine when i was 25 years old. I have a decent paying job and Im good at saving money. I also have 2 multifamily house i put 20k down on when i was 21 and the house i live in now that i put 30k down on and another 20k into, and i have a years salary in savings at all time (probably not for long because i have a baby girl due any day now)

 

I'm single, decent job, work my ass off. Saved for five years while driving a 5K dollar used truck and was able to buy the one I have now for around 20K out the door. It was still four years old when I got ahold of it, and it's still bone stock.

What money are you referring to? I have no money.....it's in the driveway right now.....LOL

 

Edumacation and a job I love minus a wife, kids, house, debt or any real expenses. Pretty sad, actually. ~sniffle~

bonus points:
-this is the second vehicle I've ever owned. My high school car lasted me 11 years.
-my parents helped with the down payment as a late graduation gift , but I was able to match them. Down payment was almost half the total cost
-On average, I would pay quadruple the monthly payment amount to pay it down faster.
-No speeding tickets. Ever
-I paid $500 under invoice by shopping around

I haul watermelons and automatic weapons to Mexico to sell. On the return trip, I bring back illegal aliens and dope. The dope I sell to the police, the illegals I rent to a sweat shop McDonald's restaurant or a telephone call center.

Seriously, I am saving up to do the Variable windshield wiper switch upgrade and it might take awhile to save up enough money.
